Why FILLAB

More than printing.
Functional solutions.

Every part starts with a decision: which material, which geometry and what conditions it needs to withstand.

FILLAB is part of Fillamentum. We develop and manufacture filaments and use them to print real functional parts. When selecting a polymer, we consider the actual load, environment and required service life — not just the name on the spool.

The goal is not to print a part at any cost. The goal is to deliver a part that works where you actually need it.

About us

Meet FILLAB.

3D printing is not just about printers. It is about people, experience and making the right decisions.

At FILLAB, we combine technical know-how, material development and hands-on experience from industrial manufacturing. We help companies find solutions that make technical and economic sense — from the first idea to series production.

FILLAB by Fillamentum Development, materials and additive manufacturing under one roof.
Materials

Material is not a detail. It is the foundation of a functional part.

We select materials according to real-world use. An office prototype requires a different material than a part operating outdoors, in heat or under mechanical load.

How the process works

Six steps from enquiry to finished part.

What we mainly need from you is the brief. You may already have a finished model, but you do not have to — we can help with design and geometry adjustments.

01

We receive your enquiry

Send us a model, drawing, photo, physical sample or a description of what you need to solve.

02

We prepare a quote

We assess the model, material, technology and scope of the project. We normally aim to respond within 24–36 hours.

03

You confirm the order

Once the price, deadline and technical solution are approved, we schedule the project for production.

04

We manufacture

Our service is currently built primarily around FDM technology and a wide range of engineering polymers.

05

We check quality

We inspect finished parts before shipping and, where needed, perform finishing operations and post-processing.

06

We ship to you

Finished parts can be shipped by courier. Production time depends on complexity, material and quantity.

FILLAB projects

3D printing as part of an exhibition about the future.

For the exhibition Doors to the Future Wide Open at the National Technical Museum, we contributed to two projects — a presentation of a future Škoda vehicle and a model of the city of the future.

National Technical Museum · Škoda

Škoda showroom

A presentation project focused on future Škoda electric models. 3D printing was used to create a physical representation of an automotive concept for the exhibition.

Frequently asked questions

Before you send us an enquiry.

What 3D printing technology do you use?

Our primary technology is currently FDM printing, which we combine with a broad portfolio of standard, engineering and flexible materials.

How quickly will I receive a quote?

For standard enquiries, we aim to send a quote within approximately 24–36 hours. More complex projects may first require a technical consultation.

Do I need a finished 3D model?

No. We can help with design, model adjustments and reproducing a part from an existing sample. You can send us a drawing, photos or a physical sample.

How long does production take?

Simple prints can be completed within a few hours, while more complex parts or production runs may take several days. We will confirm the exact lead time in the quote.

What has the biggest impact on price?

Part size, geometric complexity, print time, material consumption, polymer type, supports, post-processing and quantity.

What if my models or data are confidential?

We use your files only to assess and complete your project. If the project requires special confidentiality measures, we will agree on the terms before you send the files and can prepare an NDA on request.

Can you also arrange delivery of finished parts?

Yes. Finished parts can be shipped by courier. We will specify the delivery method in the quote.

Let’s solve it

Send us your brief.
We’ll get back to you with a solution.

Just tell us what the part needs to withstand, how many pieces you need and your required deadline. If you do not have a finished model yet, contact us anyway.
